Overview

ShotBook ("the App") is a hockey shot tracking app developed by Kenzie Campbell. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding that data.

Data We Collect

ShotBook collects only the data you enter directly into the App:

• Player profile information: display name, team name, association, and location
• Shot logs: shot type, count, date, and notes
• Goals: goal title, target count, and date range

How Your Data Is Stored

• All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
• If you are signed in to iCloud, your data is automatically synced to your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. This allows your data to sync across your devices and prevents data loss.
• Your data is stored in your personal iCloud container and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect analytics or usage data.
• We do not collect device identifiers or advertising data.
• We do not use third-party tracking or analytics services.
• We do not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or health data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to any third party. Your data remains entirely within your device and your personal iCloud account.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data remains on your device and in your iCloud account for as long as you use the App. You can delete your data at any time by:

• Deleting individual shots, goals, or player data within the App
• Deleting the App from your device
• Managing your iCloud storage through your device settings

Children's Privacy

ShotBook does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is intended for hockey players of all ages, and any data entered is stored only on the user's device and personal iCloud account.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
